Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest employer of permanent, full-time musicians – sending band leaders into primary schools nationwide to teach kids to perform in real, in-school rock bands. But 18 years after the business was founded, Rocksteady had no employer brand framework or recruitment proposition.
Following internal research, interviews, analysis and the formation of four key pillars, we created the "Who's going to teach them to rock?" campaign as a call to action for potential band leaders and office colleagues alike to join this growing, exciting business.
This is a virtually unknown name and a company of just of 600 people building its first-ever framework from the ground up and using it to transform recruitment performance within months.
The recruitment campaign included: Paid social & carousels, job board advertising, billboards, bus backs, flyers for musicians' studios, referral cards, 3x hero films, organic social content and a refreshed careers site built on the same platform as their applicant tracking system for a seamless candidate experience.
